2026-09-15Changelog

  1. RPC API is now available for Bitcoin, Tron, and XRPL.

  2. The Address Set API has been added to Webhook. A single Address Set can hold up to 5 million addresses and be used as a webhook condition.

Major Updates

1. RPC API for Bitcoin, Tron, and XRPL

RPC API has been added for Bitcoin, Tron, and XRPL, which were previously available only through the Data API. Each chain's node RPC can be called directly through a Nodit endpoint, and Mainnet is supported on all three chains.

ChainEndpointSupported APIs
Bitcoinhttps://bitcoin-mainnet.nodit.io/{api_key}29 JSON-RPC methods
Tronhttps://tron-mainnet.nodit.io/{api_key}34 JSON-RPC methods, 93 FullNode HTTP APIs, 35 FullNode Solidity HTTP APIs
XRPLhttps://xrpl-mainnet.nodit.io/{api_key}39 JSON-RPC methods

Bitcoin RPC API

Provides 29 methods across the Blockchain (18), Rawtransactions (7), and Util (4) categories, based on the Bitcoin Core 30.0 RPC. It covers block and transaction lookups, mempool status, and raw transaction decoding and broadcasting.

Tron RPC API

Tron is offered through three interfaces.

  • JSON-RPC (34): Provides the Ethereum-compatible eth_, net_, and web3_ namespaces along with the buildTransaction method. Existing EVM client code can be connected to Tron with minimal changes.

  • FullNode HTTP API (93): Provides 11 categories of Tron-specific functionality, including account resources (Bandwidth, Energy), TRC-10 tokens, voting and SRs, proposals, exchanges, and the pending pool.

  • FullNode Solidity HTTP API (35): APIs under the /walletsolidity/* path that return data based on solidified blocks.

  • Go to Tron JSON-RPC

  • Go to Tron FullNode HTTP API

  • Go to Tron FullNode Solidity HTTP API

XRPL RPC API

Provides 39 methods across the Account (10), Ledger (5), Transaction (5), Path and Order Book (8), Payment Channel (1), Server Info (7), Utility (2), and Vault (1) categories. It covers the methods needed to build XRPL services, including account information, trust lines, NFT lookups, ledger and transaction queries, path finding, and order book queries.

Supported chains and networks, along with the network identifier format, are available in the Supported Chains document.

2. Webhook Address Set API Added

The Address Set API has been added to the Webhook API for services that need to track a large number of addresses. Until now, an ADDRESS_ACTIVITY webhook required the address list to be specified directly in the addresses field. Addresses can now be managed separately as an Address Set and linked to a webhook through addressSetId at creation time.

An Address Set works as follows.

  • A single Address Set can hold up to 5 million addresses, within the limit of your plan.
  • The address format is specified with addressFormat at creation time and supports EVM and TRON. The webhook's chain must match the Address Set's address format.
  • Up to 1,000 addresses can be added or removed per API request, and addresses can be bulk-imported from a CSV file (up to 256MB). Imports are processed asynchronously, and their progress can be checked through a separate API.
  • Registered addresses can be listed page by page or exported as a CSV file.
  • One Address Set can be shared across multiple webhooks and can also be used as a condition for Stream ADDRESS_ACTIVITY subscriptions.

The Address Set API consists of the following 10 methods.

MethodPathDescription
Create Address SetPOST /webhook/address-setsCreates an Address Set.
List Address SetsGET /webhook/address-setsLists Address Sets.
Get Address SetGET /webhook/address-sets/{addressSetId}Returns the details of an Address Set.

Delete Address SetDELETE /webhook/address-sets/{addressSetId}Deletes an Address Set.
Update Addresses in Address SetPATCH /webhook/address-sets/{addressSetId}/addressesAdds or removes addresses.
List Addresses in Address SetGET /webhook/address-sets/{addressSetId}/addressesLists the registered addresses.
Export Addresses from Address SetGET /webhook/address-sets/{addressSetId}/addresses/downloadExports the address list as CSV.
Import Addresses into Address SetPOST /webhook/address-sets/{addressSetId}/importsBulk-imports addresses from a CSV file.
