Aptos Testnet Web3 Data API Temporary Suspension​

Hello, this is the Nodit Team.

The Aptos Foundation has officially announced that Aptos Testnet will be reset on October 7, 2026. The reset deletes all existing data on Aptos Testnet, and the network restarts from a new genesis block.

Because this reset affects the data that the Nodit Web3 Data API serves, we are temporarily suspending the Web3 Data API on Aptos Testnet starting today, October 6, 2026.

Schedule​

  • Suspension starts: October 6, 2026
  • Aptos Testnet reset (by the Aptos Foundation): October 7, 2026
  • Expected resumption: October 9, 2026

The resumption date is not final. It may be extended depending on the Aptos Foundation's progress and any changes to the reset. We will announce the confirmed resumption date through an update to this notice.

Impact​

  • During the suspension, requests to the Web3 Data API on Aptos Testnet are not available.
  • Data recorded on Aptos Testnet before the reset will no longer be available.
  • The Web3 Data API on Aptos Mainnet is not affected.

If you use the Web3 Data API on Aptos Testnet, please review any dependencies on Aptos Testnet data in advance to avoid any impact on your service operations.
