[Service Notice] Polygon Mainnet Data Consistency Advisory
Posted on August 25 2025
Updated on August 25 2025
Update: Polygon Mainnet Reorg Backfill Completed (8/25)
The data backfill process for the affected Polygon mainnet reorg range has been successfully completed.
All impacted data in Nodit Web3 Data API has been corrected, and there is no remaining impact on service usage. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this process.
Polygon Mainnet Reorg Analysis
Nodit has completed an initial analysis of the recent Polygon mainnet reorg.
- Verification Period: May 2025 – August 25, 2025
- Affected Blocks: 74,592,112 – 74,592,222 (continuous range)
- Total Blocks: 111
- Date: July 30, 2025 (confirmed with PolygonScan)
Please take this scope into account when working with Polygon mainnet data via Nodit Web3 Data API. Data correction for the affected range will be carried out shortly.
Nodit is aware of recent data consistency issues following the Heimdall-v2 client upgrade(7/11) on the Polygon network, which led to the detection of multiple unexpected large reorgs.
Our team is currently reviewing and correcting portions of data in the Nodit Web3 Data API that were indexed prior to the reorgs. These anomalies originate from events outside of the expected network specification.
We are in the process of confirming the exact scope (affected block ranges) and details of the impact. Updates will be provided once our review is complete. In the meantime, please take this advisory into account when using Polygon mainnet data.
For reference, see an example of the July 30 reorg on PolygonScan:

We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure accurate and reliable data across all supported networks.
